How it Works An electric long-wave infra-red element sits just under the grill of the barbecue where it provides direct radiant heat for the food to cook. Below the heating element are lava rock 'coals'. Lava rock is a volcanic rock made at very high temperatures and has the ability to absorb heat from the infra-red element. The rocks then re-radiate heat to the food in just the same way as a real barbecue. As the food cooks, fat and seasonings drip onto the rocks giving the look, feel and taste of traditional charcoal cooking.

Fully Waterproof The Electric Infra-red BBQ is waterproof and can be left outside. Simply protect the 13A plug by leaving it plugged into an outdoor waterproof socket or tuck it inside the vinyl cover (available separately)
